you run a design system with duplicates, out-of-sync tokens, and outdated documentation
you'll learn how to run a design system audit and find the three most painful issues that need fixing. you'll get a checklist and prompts you can apply right away.

instead of saving time, AI-generated components take hours of rework
you'll learn how to give AI your design system's context through prompts, so the resulting components follow your rules and guidelines.

you see the potential of generative UI but are afraid of losing control over the system
you'll figure out which agent-driven approaches to UI already work and which are still experimental. you'll put together a plan for safely testing the new practice within your team.

you're responsible for your company's design system and are planning to roll out AI into your team's workflow
you'll determine which maturity level to start your AI rollout from and which metrics to track going forward. you'll get a plan tailored to your team's current state.

Web designer and developer, speaker, educator, and consultant from Pittsburgh (USA).
Creator of the Atomic Design methodology, which has become the foundation for building and maintaining design systems for teams around the world. He runs his own online courses on design systems, design tokens, front-end development, and team collaboration, and consults companies that are implementing or scaling design systems.
His projects include the podcast Wake Up Excited, where he talks with inspiring people about living a creative and fulfilling life, as well as Pattern Lab — a tool for building component libraries based on atomic design principles, used by teams worldwide. He's also involved in music, runs several smaller creative projects, and regularly speaks at conferences for designers and developers.

got questions?
we've got answers
- do I need experience working with a design system?
- I don't have my own design system, is this intensive right for me?
- will the intensive be recorded?
- do I need to know how to write prompts for AI?
- will there be homework or a final project?
