Tim Dekker
My own background is in Media technology & interaction design from the Netherlands & Service Design from the cold north of Finland.
Previously worked at a creative agency designing digital products & services for startups and worked as Agile coach for a big corporate to improve their development process.
I moved to Czechia to work at Kiwi.com as Service Designer, but now I'm back in Rotterdam for my Masters in Sociology & Media. I still work part time for Kiwi and continue work on my freelance business, which I have for 4 years now.
I am known for my workshop facilitation skills, research heavy interface design and analytical view to problems (I work a lot with product metrics) in for example quantifying the customer journey for Kiwi.com & AkzoNobel.
I like to view design from many different perspectives (e.g. arhitecture, biology and social sciences) as design does not exist in a vacuum and we need to understand the world in which we work.
