Francesco has spent over 15 years crafting UI and front-end experiences across top agencies and startups in Europe. His journey into the design systems space began in 2017, where he built modular systems based on Material Design and in-agency editorial frameworks.

At Klarna, he led the design community through two significant rebrandings and launched a new illustration system that helped redefine the company’s visual identity. Additionally, he bootstrapped two design teams for SaaS startups in Switzerland, further sharpening his skills in building scalable, user-centric systems from the ground up.

As a Figma community advocate in Sweden, he has hosted over 20 design events, bringing together designers to collaborate and innovate. His expertise and insights have earned him speaking opportunities at major industry events such as Config, Design System London 2021, and Netguru Disrupt, where he has shared his knowledge on how strong design systems can drive product consistency and efficiency.

Today, he continues to push the boundaries of design systems at Wolt, helping teams deliver cohesive and scalable digital experiences.
